What you need to understand in ice production

 

When calculating the production of a soft ice cream machine, we take into account 3 things.

the amount of ice cream made, the time and the size of the gelato.

1 liter of product weighs 1300 gr so if I divide 1300 / 15 = 86 gr

My cylinder is 2 liters, but my mixer is 0.5 liters so in my cylinder I have 1.5 liters of ice cream.

I have 2 cylinders so 3 liters of ice

The machine takes 10 minutes to prepare 3 liters of ice cream

As 1 liter represents 15 servings = my machine can produce 45 Italian ice creams every 10 minutes

So we multiply 45 x 6 and we have the total number of ice creams per hour, i.e. 270 ice creams / hour.

What you have to take into account is that if I make bigger ice creams, double ice creams that weigh 150 gr, I can only make 90.

What you also need to understand is that if I draw a single perfume, I divide the production of my machine by 2 (unless I have the same perfume in both cylinders)

If I want to fill 1/2 liter tubs with ice, I can only make 6 tubs every 10 minutes.
